ELLENORE SCOTT (she/her) is a BIPOC, New York based choreographer and director. Through her work, Ellenore values lifting diverse voices in her community while creating joyous spaces where artists thrive. Broadway: Titanique, Ragtime, Funny Girl, Mr. Saturday Night, Grey House. Off-Broadway: Little Shop of Horrors, The Lonely Few, I Can Get It For You Wholesale, Titanique (Lucille Lortel Nomination). Other choreography credits: Titanique (Australian, Canadian and West End productions), Funny Girl (1st National Tour, Japan Summer 2026), So You Think You Can Dance? (Season 17), Single All the Way (Netflix). Scott’s work has also been seen at McCarter Theatre, The Bushwick Starr, The Old Globe, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Cherry Lane Theatre, Asolo Repertory Theatre, A Contemporary Theatre of Connecticut, Cape Fear Regional Theatre and Seattle Repertory Theatre. TV Performances: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Smash, The Blacklist, Glee!, and Finalist and All-Star on SYTYCD. Scott serves as the Vice President of the SDCF Board and is a proud member and Executive Board Member of SDC. Mother to Ford, Wife to playwright Trey Everett.
Artistic Director of ELSCO Dance, Scott created a New York contemporary dance company that combined her love of commercial and concert dance. ELSCO has performed throughout the Tri-State area, Boston, Los Angeles and continues to strive to make dance accessible for everyone, including creating pieces specifically made to be viewed online for free. Scott teaches as guest faculty for all the major dance education studios including Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Peridance and The Ailey School.
As a Movement Director, Scott has choreographed/movement directed commercials for Marc Fisher Footwear, AVON, Chase Bank, Oofos, and Global Girls. During the pandemic, Scott choreographed the first ever TikTok Musical called Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical directed by Lucy Moss, which raised of $2 million dollars for The Actors Fund. As a performer she was a finalist and an All-Star on the hit television show “So You Think You Can Dance.” She performed on numerous television shows (“Glee,” “Smash,” “The Ellen Show,” “The Blacklist,” “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” to name a few) and danced with Janet Jackson. Scott is also a content creator, with over 1 million followers on TikTok under the name @HelloEllenore.
